Hello Cruisers! I couldn't figure out what to call this blog as we have so many last names in our family, so relating this to our recent trip to Alaska seemed pretty easy.

My hope is that through this blog we can keep in better touch with one another. Last week was a highlight of my life as we were able to spend time together in such a relaxed, light-hearted environment. Okay, so it was a little stressful when someone changed the breakfast room service and sent a half a dozen bruised bananas, but other than that, it was clear sailing for this cruiser.

I am looking into going north at Thanksgiving. If anyone is interested in joining me, let me know! There are only a few teaching jobs available in Alaska, but I think it best if I visited when the days were short before I doing any applying.
